06 Toyota Tundra Making Vacum Noise
Payed it no attention and noticed the battery gauge is lower than normal.
06 toyota tundra making vacum noise. Ok this is gonna be hard to explain but basically at about 3500 rpms and on my engine makes a slight whistling noise i guess is how i can explain it. Given up for adoption. Left work this morning in the rain and drove about 25 miles to a gas station got out to get a drink and noticed that when I pulled in my truck was making a whining noise from under the hood.
Strange noise after shutting off truck. I bought the vehicle last Wednesday drove it 200 miles to the coast the following day. Doesnt make that noise when I hit a bump going straight hmmm.
So my truck started making this noise and I wanted to see if you guys think it could possibly be an injector. When in park or at a stop light or anytime the truck is sitting still and on I can here a tickingknocking. If I turmn it off and then restart it will usually go away.
Hello I have a 2005 Toyota Sequoia that has been making a real loud vacuum sound at the first start only. Discussion Starter 1 Nov 9 2017. I have a Toyota Tundra 2006.
It almost sounds like a vacuum leak. The noise is from the secondary air pump which sends hot air to the catalytic converter when the engine is cold. I would think that you used new parts so they are probably up to snuff.
And sometimes it will make the noise right away and sometimes it will be up to 5-10 seconds later after I have come to a stop. Havent caught the Tundra yet but Im positive it does though EditMaybe Subaru dealer was kinda right and kinda wrong. Purchased a new 2016 Tundra Crew Max 4x4 at the beginning of this year and love it other than it makes a noise that reminds me of something like valve train noise.
