The next thing that I would do is to plug up a spark plug tester 5 at autozone up to the plugs and make sure that they are getting voltage. Next time it clicks when it doesnt start take notice if the truck loses all powerthe dash lights shut off headlights off radio off etc if it loses power it is definitely a corrosion cable or bad cell in the battery problem.
However yesterday i cleaned it all up and went to go start it and take it to a shop to get my rear stopping light fixed but it wouldnt. That clicking sound that you hear is the starter motor solenoid energizing. Usually the ignition fuse will be relatively large.
That did not help. That worked for a few days. If it clicks that means that the starter motor is getting voltage.
I have a 2000 toyota tundra 4x4 access cab with the 47L v8. I recently had the starter replaced about a week ago when the engine wouldnt start and just amde a click. Your main is probably under the hood.
Open your Toyotas relay panel which is located on the drivers side of the engine block near the battery. Check your fuse box for a blown ignition fuse relay. 1 disconnect battery 2 remove any wires connected to the starter 3 remove mounting bolts 4 catch the starter and manouver it through your suspincion 5 you may need to reverse 2 and 3 depending on how hard the wires are to get to 6 now revers these steps with new starter.
There is a 5amp starter fuse under the hood in the fuse panel make sure its good if it is remove the starter relay in the same fuse block the relay has numbered terminals identify terminal three on the relay and the corresponding connector in the fuse box apply 12volt battery voltage directly to terminal three of the socket with a jumper wire from the battery the starter should turn the engine.
