2001 Toyota Tundra Trailer Lights Not Working
In my experience of a light does not work its usually a bad ground.
2001 toyota tundra trailer lights not working. Checked trailer plug no power checked under hood 30a fuse is good trailer tow relay has no power. I have a 2005 Toyota Tundra. I have a 2002 Tundra with a factory installed hitch.

This is the first time I have come across this. Trailer brake and turn lights not working on tundra running lights work - All lights and brakes work with other vehicles brake and turn signal do not work with my Tundra. On the Tundra the white wire is the ground on both connectors find the corresponding wire on the trailer connector and ensure it is connected to the trailer chassis.
I believe the reason the fuse blew was some corrosion I found in the wiring harness extension that is tucked into the tongue of the trailer. Also the 3rd brake light is not working either. I called the dealership and my sales guy said he will check if it is covered by the 3yr30000 my truck is a 10 and I bought it used in Feb 2011.
Did you try the trick on youtube to connect the two contacts on the trailers 7-pin to turn on the lights on trailer. The back left tail light is not working. Discussion Starter 1 Feb 21 2007.
If it doesnt work you might have some loose connection or blown fuse on the running light circuit. I hooked up a newer trailer to my Tundra for the first time everything worked fine for about ten minutes then turning off the freeway the turn signals did not work so I checked the 20amp fuse and it was ok. It is not the trailer as verified it worked with another toyota.
