2000 Toyota Tundra 4wd Not Working

Tundra is equipped with a V6 engine and a 47litre V8 engine for the pick-up.

This truck has been extremely reliable over the years and has had very few problems. 2000 Tundra V8 - 4WD not working so took transfer case actuator apart to see if it was dirty but it was fine. I got a used one out of an 03 for 30000 from Yota Jims in Denver with a 90 Day warranty.

It has given a hard time for the segment leader that is being driven by Ford. Check engine light came - Toyota 2000 Tundra question. Otherwise shift the transfer case lever from 2H to 4H The electronic transfer case is located on the instrument panel and is marked with 2WD 4WD Lock and 4WD Low.

Toyota changed the design like eight times in the first two years. 4HI light now keeps flashing on the button and on the dash but actuator is not engaging. It currently has 223K miles.

You have to take it all apart. It was introduced in 1999 and the production started for the model year 2000. My 2000 low mileage Tundra would not engage 4WD.

So far I love the truck regardless of knowing if it is in 4 wheel or not lol. 2004 toyota tundra 4x4 not working just a flashing light. My 2000 Tundra will not go into 4 wheel drive.
